At I Like to Move It Move It, we understand that moving can be one of life's most stressful events. That's why we've dedicated ourselves to ensuring our clients experience a seamless transition into their new homes or offices.
In our ongoing effort to enhance customer satisfaction, we have introduced a process to our customers to send a video survey of their property. This provides convenience by allowing you to complete the survey at a time that suits you, saves time by expediting the planning process, and offers flexibility to update requirements easily. It enhances safety by minimizing physical contact, ensures accuracy through thorough documentation, and provides a visual record for reference. Additionally, it reduces environmental impact by cutting down on travel, all of which contribute to a smoother, more stress-free moving experience.
Step1:
Start recording on your smartphone and point the camera to the location where we can park and provide any relevant commentary about parking & access.
• If the parking is just outside your property, you can simply film from a window in your property.
• Let us know about any restrictions or parking
Step 2:
FRONT DOOR: Start recording from the entrance of your property as if you have just arrived into your property through the front door.
Step 3:
EACH ROOM:
Then start walking slowly into each room while recording and providing commentary about what is to be moved, not moved, disassembled,
Step 4:
As you enter each room, please mention the name of the room and point the camera at each item or furniture and provide commentary whether it's moving or not, disassembled or dismantled:
• If everything is moving in a room then…please mention
• If anything is not moving… please mention
• If anything needs protecting or is fragile…please mention
• If anything is valuable… please mention
• If anything needs disassembling or reassembling…please mention
• If there are any special requirements… please mention
Step 5:
Do the same for each room until you have filmed all rooms, including any utility, garage, storage rooms.
Step 6:
Once you have finished recording on your smartphone, you can share it using the following ways:
